Pioneering Voices in

The Universalist Unitarian Church of East Liberty, Michigan is hosting “Pioneering Voices: Portraits of Transgender People” throughout April 2015.

“The display shows a wide variety of people of different ages, races and genders,” said Rev. Dr. Cynthia Landrum of the Universalist Unitarian Church. “Transgender people face brutal discrimination. They experience violent discrimination. This helps to break down the labels and shows what it means to be transgender. It combats transphobia.”
